A community built on hope, courage and honest conversation.

The 'Just One More' Project brings together people who use challenge, lived experience and resilience to educate, inspire and help others feel less alone.

Whether you're taking on your own mountain, supporting someone you love, or simply searching for hope, this is a community where every story matters.

Whatever your 'Just One More' is... just don't give up.

Every extraordinary journey begins with one more step.

The biggest journeys rarely begin with confidence. They begin with uncertainty, fear, frustration or the simple decision to keep going.

That's where the 'Just One More' Project began.

This isn't a campaign built around endurance events. It's a community built around people.

People who have faced adversity.

People who have discovered resilience.

People prepared to share their story so someone else feels understood.

Every challenge becomes an opportunity to start a conversation.

Every conversation has the potential to change a life.

Meet Laura

The 'Just One More' Project was founded by business owner Laura Webber, who discovered that running and fitness became an important part of her own mental health recovery.

Over time, that journey has led her to complete a number of endurance events. Whilst not an elite athlete, she has become an accomplished long-distance runner, driven not by competition, but by the belief that extraordinary things can be achieved one step at a time.

This is her story...

"For years, one simple phrase has helped me through life's toughest moments."

Just One More.

One more step.

One more mile.

One more hour.

One more day.

It's the mindset that's carried me through ultramarathons, endurance challenges and some of life's most difficult moments.

Like many people, I understand the reality of living with mental health challenges. I also know the physical and mental determination it takes to keep moving forward when every part of you wants to stop.

That's why I created the 'Just One More' Project.

Not simply to complete extraordinary challenges, but to help people find their own turning point, build from their own foundation, and believe that whatever they're facing, progress begins with just one more step.

The Journey Begins

Marathon Des Sables - Ultra 2027

I have secured my place to participate in the January 2027 Marathon Des Sables.  A 100mile non-stop ultra marathon across the Sahara Desert, carrying all of my food, liquid and race supplies. The only thing provided at the check points is water, the rest I need to carry with me at all times. There are no camps and no tents to sleep in.  I am not allowed supplies to be provided to me during the race, by any supporters, and only provisions supplied by the official event crew is permitted.  There is a 40hour cut off time for the 100mile race across the desert!  This will be a real test of both mental and physical endurance.

MDS 2027 is more than a race.

It's the first major challenge undertaken by me for The 'Just One More' Project and the beginning of a long-term mission to educate and support those affected by mental ill health, through extraordinary endurance adventures.

This isn't the finish line.

It's only the beginning - The first step, then contuning with 'just one more' step...

Why Mental Health?

Mental health affects every family, every workplace and every community.

Many people want to help.

They simply don't know how.

The 'Just One More' Project exists to bridge that gap.

Through honest conversations and lived experience, we help people better understand what it means to live with mental health challenges—and how friends, families and communities can make a genuine difference.

Education creates understanding.

Understanding creates hope.

Hope changes lives.

The Just One More Project exists to encourage conversations, reduce stigma and support organisations that help people before they reach crisis.

Every challenge we undertake has one purpose:

To remind people that no matter how difficult today feels...

Whatever your "One More" is, just don't give up.

Stronger Together

No one changes the world alone.

The 'Just One More' Project is built on collaboration.

Charities.

Champions.

Businesses.

Schools.

Communities.

Supporters.

Each plays a different role, but together we create something far greater than any one organisation could achieve alone.

The Just One More Project is built on partnership.

From charities and universities to businesses and local communities, every partner plays a vital role in helping us turn ambitious ideas into meaningful action.

We believe the best partnerships are built on shared values, where everyone benefits, grows and makes a lasting impact together.

We're currently building our founding team of partners for the World Marathon Challenge and beyond.
