First Community Partnership Announcement

The Just One More Project is delighted to welcome Every Man Matters as our first Community Founding Partner.

This partnership marks an important moment in our journey, bringing together two organisations that share a commitment to improving mental wellbeing through education, support and meaningful community engagement. By working together, we hope to reach more people, encourage more conversations and remind those who may be struggling that they are never alone.

We look forward to building a lasting partnership, supporting one another's work and demonstrating the power of communities coming together to make a positive difference.

One more milestone. One more step forward.

Supporting CALM's Life Saving Work

The 'Just One More' Project is proud to announce that donations raised through our endurance challenges and fundraising activities will be in aid of Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), supporting their life-saving work across the UK.

From the very beginning, the vision behind the project has been to encourage conversations around mental health, challenge stigma and remind people that no matter how difficult life becomes, there is always hope and support available.

Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) provides a life-saving suicide prevention helpline, practical mental health resources and national awareness campaigns that encourage people to seek support and start conversations. Someone contacts the CALM helpline every 59 seconds, and every donation helps them continue providing these vital services.

Through the support of our community, we hope to raise both awareness and vital funds that will help CALM continue supporting people when they need it most.

This marks an important milestone for the 'Just One More' Project, and we are proud that donations from our journey will help support CALM's life-saving work.

One more milestone. One more step forward.

The story begins - offical  project launch

The Just One More Project officially launched on 1 July 2026, marking the beginning of a journey to educate, inspire and encourage conversations around mental health through extraordinary endurance challenges.

Founded by Laura Webber, the project aims to bring together charities, businesses, community organisations and individuals under one shared message: whatever your "one more" is, just don't give up.

While this is only the first milestone, it represents the foundation of something much bigger. Over the coming months, the project will continue to grow through new partnerships, endurance events, community initiatives and educational resources, all with the ambition of making a lasting difference to mental health awareness and support.

One more milestone. One more step forward.

Flagship Event Confirmed

The journey has officially begun.

I'm incredibly proud to announce that I have secured my place in the Marathon des Sables Ultra, taking place in Morocco on 8 January 2027.

This isn't just another endurance event. It marks the first major chapter of the Just One More Project and the beginning of a much bigger mission to use endurance challenges to educate, inspire and encourage conversations around mental health.

Over the coming months, I'll be sharing the reality of preparing for one of the world's toughest endurance events. There will be good days and bad days, setbacks and successes, but every step will be part of a much larger story. I want to show not only the physical preparation, but also the mental journey that comes with taking on a challenge like this.

The MDS Ultra is only the beginning. It's the first of many endurance challenges that will help raise awareness, create conversations and support mental health through the Just One More Project.

A huge thank you to everyone who has already supported the project, followed the journey or offered words of encouragement. Every message, every share and every conversation helps move the mission forward.

One more milestone. One more step forward.

Fleet Services Southwest Ltd Becomes First Corporate Sponsor

The Just One More Project is proud to announce Fleet Services Southwest Ltd as our first corporate sponsor.

Their support marks a major milestone in the project's journey and has made it possible to secure entry into the Marathon des Sables Ultra—a 100-mile, self-sufficient ultramarathon across the Moroccan desert that will become the project's first flagship endurance challenge.

This partnership represents far more than financial support. It is a vote of confidence in the vision behind the Just One More Project and our mission to use endurance sport to educate, inspire and encourage conversations around mental health.

As preparations for the Marathon des Sables Ultra continue, Fleet Services Southwest Ltd will be supporting the journey from training to the start line, helping us share the message that no matter what challenges life presents, progress is made by taking just one more step.

We are incredibly grateful for their belief in the project and look forward to achieving great things together.

Our YouTube Channel Is Launched!

The 'Just One More' Project officially launched its YouTube channel on 24 July 2026, creating a new platform to document the journey behind the mission. Rather than simply showcasing endurance challenges, the channel will provide an honest insight into the physical, emotional and mental realities of preparing for and completing some of the world's toughest events. Through training updates, documentary-style stories, partnership features and personal reflections, the aim is to help people better understand invisible struggles and the resilience it takes to keep moving forward. As the project grows, the channel will become a permanent record of the journey, celebrating milestones, sharing lessons learned and highlighting the organisations and individuals helping to make the mission possible.

Chaos to Control joins the ‘Just One More’ Project

Chaos to Control joins the ‘Just One More’ Project

We are delighted to announce a new collaboration between the ‘Just One More’ Project and Chris Piper, founder of Chaos to Control.

Chris speaks openly about his experiences of ADHD, addiction and recovery, including the reality that recovery does not mean life's struggles simply disappear. There are strong parallels between Chris and Laura's experiences, despite the different paths that brought them to where they are today.

This collaboration isn't about presenting polished versions of recovery or pretending that difficult days belong in the past. It's about honest conversations and showing what carrying an invisible load can really look like – 365 days a year.

Chris and Laura will be creating documentary-style content together, sharing conversations, experiences and some of the everyday moments that rarely make it into discussions about mental health, neurodiversity and recovery.

By bringing Chaos to Control and the ‘Just One More’ Project together, we hope to make more of the unseen visible – both for those experiencing it themselves and for the family, friends and colleagues trying to understand what life can look like from the other side.

Keep an eye on our website and social channels – there's plenty more to come from this collaboration.

Fueling the mission: Expedition Foods Backs the ‘Just One More’ Project

We are delighted to welcome Expedition Foods as a brand partner of the ‘Just One More’ Project, supporting Laura as preparations continue for the Marathon des Sables Ultra in Morocco.

In January, Laura will take on 100 miles non-stop and self-supported through the Sahara desert. With everything needed for the challenge having to be carefully selected and carried, getting the nutrition strategy right is going to be a crucial part of the preparation.

Expedition Foods specialise in lightweight, high-energy meals designed for expeditions and endurance adventures, making them a natural fit for what lies ahead.

Over the coming months, Laura will be putting a range of their meals to the test during training. It isn't simply about finding enough calories. We need to discover what still tastes good after hours on tired legs, what her body tolerates under prolonged physical stress, how practical each meal is when exhausted, and ultimately which foods earn their place in the pack for Morocco.

We'll be sharing that process as part of the MDS journey – including the testing, the decisions and, undoubtedly, a few lessons along the way.

This is exactly the kind of partnership we want to build around the ‘Just One More’ Project: organisations bringing their own specialist knowledge and products to help make ambitious challenges possible.

A huge thank you to Keith and the Expedition Foods team for believing in what we're doing and coming along for the journey.

Welcome aboard, Expedition Foods.

One step. One mile. One purpose.

New Champion Partnership: Paddy McClintock & Check In With A Mate

The ‘Just One More’ Project is pleased to welcome Paddy McClintock, founder of Check In With A Mate, as one of our Champions.

Paddy and JOMP share a belief in the importance of honest conversations and finding ways to reach people who may be struggling behind the scenes. Our approaches are different, but strongly complementary — and following a fantastic first meeting, we have agreed to work together to help both messages travel further.

Paddy brings a particularly valuable perspective to the project. Alongside his work with Check In With A Mate, he has first-hand experience of extreme endurance, including 'Project Ireland' - completing a 650 km ultra marathon over two weeks. During our conversation, Paddy spoke openly about the fact that the psychological challenge of that journey was harder than the physical one, and about learning to break an overwhelming distance down into smaller, manageable pieces.

That has a powerful connection with what the ‘Just One More’ Project is trying to make visible.

Our endurance challenges aren't simply about demonstrating how far somebody can run. They provide a physical representation of battles that are usually invisible: the internal conversations, isolation, exhaustion, doubt and moments when stopping can feel considerably easier than continuing.

Paddy's experience adds another voice to that story.

As part of the collaboration, Paddy and the ‘Just One More’ Project will support one another's work across our respective platforms. We plan to create honest conversations and longer-form content together, share Paddy's experiences from previous endurance challenges, and explore opportunities to collaborate around future endurance, research and mental health projects.

And we've already started talking about something considerably bigger.

This isn't about two organisations simply putting their names alongside one another. It's about sharing experience, opening conversations and using our respective platforms to reach people in different ways.

We're really pleased to have Paddy alongside us.

Welcome to the ‘Just One More’ Project, Paddy.

One step. One mile. One purpose.

The Vinyl Berry becomes   official apparel sponsor

We’re pleased to welcome The Vinyl Berry as the Official Apparel Supporter of the ‘Just One More’ Project.

Vinyl Berry will be working with us on the             production and branding of our training and event apparel as the project continues to grow, helping us create clothing that carries the JOMP message wherever the challenges take us.

For a project built around making the unseen seen, what we wear has a job to do. Whether it’s out training, taking on an endurance challenge or       attending an event, our apparel gives us another opportunity to start conversations, share the   message and encourage someone to take ‘just one more’ step.

Having a local business willing to contribute its time, skills and expertise makes a genuine          difference, and we’re grateful to Adam and Vinyl Berry for getting behind what we’re building.

There is plenty more to come from this              partnership, including new training and challenge kit as we prepare for the Marathon des Sables Ultra and the challenges beyond it.

Welcome to the team, The Vinyl Berry.
